NewGen Airways has announced that it will launch two new services to Chiang Mai and Phuket from Korat, starting from 3 December onwards.
The routes will make NewGen Airways the only airline to operate commercial flights from Nakhon Ratchasima Airport, which is located about 26 kilometres east of Korat City.
According to Mr. Jarurnpong Sornprasit, Chief Executive of NewGen Airways, the airline has already been allocated a timetable to operate on the two routes.
On the Korat-Chiang Mai route, NewGen Airways will operate a morning flight, leaving Korat at 9am and arriving in Chiang Mai at 10.35am. After about one hour stop, the flight will return to Korat, arriving at around noon.
On the Korat-Phuket route, it will operate an afternoon flight, leaving Korat at around 3pm and arriving in Phuket at 4.45pm. The return flight will depart Phuket at 5pm and arrive in Korat at 6.45pm.
In September, 2017, NewGen Airways has welcomed two new Boeing 737-800 aircrafts, number 11 and 12, as part of its plans to expand its route network from 37 to 46 routes.
